NOTICE WARNING CONCERNING COPYRIGHT RESTRICTIONS
The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material.
Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproductions. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research." If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of "fair use," that user may be liable for copyright infringement.
This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a reproduction order if, in its judgment fulfillment of the order would involve violation of the copyright law.
The Digitization Lab provides digital reproductions of material for research and publication purposes. The Digitization Lab reserves the right to restrict reproductions because of physical, contractual, or copyright restrictions. Digital reproductions will be emailed to the researcher.
You are solely responsible for determining the copyright status of any materials you may wish to use, to investigate the owner of the copyright, and to obtain permission for your intended use. In all cases you must cite Lisa Wright, Digitization Lab, University of Rochester Libraries as the image source, and, if a particular material is copyrighted, you must cite all copyright information and comply with all other terms or restrictions that may be applicable to that material.
By checking the Terms of Service box, the user agrees that they have read and accepted the above conditions of the Digitization Lab.
