About me
Kimberly Davies Hoffman serves as the University of Rochester’s Assistant Dean of Engaged Learning & Research at the River Campus Libraries. With interests in engaging pedagogy, instructional design, assessment, creating professional development opportunities, and collaborative leadership, she has been a founding member for programs like LILAC, the 3Ts, and RYSAG. Recent projects include her participation in the ARL Digital Scholarship Institute, a grant-based digital collection of case studies highlighting faculty’s teaching with technology (DigITaL, Digital Ideas in Teaching and Learning), and an openly published book titled Open Pedagogy Approaches: Faculty, Library, and Student Collaborations. This book aims to highlight faculty-library collaborations in adopting open educational practices - a true blend of her passions rolled into one major project. Kimberly earned her MLS at the University at Buffalo and a BA in French and International Relations at the University of New Hampshire.
