Services and Features

• If you would like a book or other physical material retrieved from the shelves for you, you can sign in, click Get it on the item record, and choose your preferred pick up location. Example with screenshots
  Please note that this process can take 1-5 days, depending on labor availability. 
   
• RCL sponsored public lectures and symposia include sign language interpretation &/or real-time captioning when requested. Please contact the organizer of the event in advance (aim for 1 week in advance). 

Library Spaces

• Wheelchair accessible study locations can be found throughout RCL. 
   
• The iZone on the ground floor contains a lift to access the mezzanine level. 
   
• The iZone’s Kessler Forum as well as the Studio (G108A) and G108 classroom have installed IR transmitters. 
   
• Welles-Brown, on the first floor of the library next to the Friedlander Lobby is our Wellness and Relaxation zone and has comfortable seating and de-stressing resources in a quiet environment.

Technology

• All public computers use the built-in accessibility features of their respective operating systems, Windows and macOS.  
   

•  There is a magnifier reader in Lam Square to assist in the reading of printed materials. This magnifier is among the desktop computers behind the self-checkout area.  The instructions for using this magnifier are also available online.
